Before this space housed the Hollywood Cafe, it was the Blue Goose Cafe; later (by 1949) the Good Eats Cafe. Still later (1950) – and (if you are inclined to put faith in dates offered by CVA) earlier (1930) – this space became famous as the Commodore Ballroom.
