    The sky in that photo looks like bubble wrap. I remember my father driving the family up to Harvey’s for a burger…no McDonald’s back then.

    19 cents… hard to imagine! (Yes, unfortunately, the librarians always set the negatives out on bubble wrap on the light table… maybe I’ll ask them next time to just set them directly on the table without any bubble wrap underneath…

    This was on Kingsway at MacPherson Ave in Burnaby. Harvey’s being on the SW corner. There was a Wreckers yard on north side, and can be seen in photo. The address system got changed somewhere around 1960

      Yes, that seems accurate. It’s always nice to have cross streets identified instead of just street numbers (particularly when municipalities change the numbering system). Thanks for commenting.
